The Walkthrough

One Lab. Many Experiments.
All of Them Shipping.

A guided tour of what ProvenLabs builds, how we build it, and what it takes to work with us. Designed for partners deciding whether to refer us, vendors looking for integration ground, and clients evaluating a build engagement.

01
The Thesis

Custom Software Stopped Being Slow and Expensive.
We Operationalized That.

For thirty years, the choice was simple. Buy off-the-shelf and force your business to fit the tool, or commission custom builds that took quarters to ship and another quarter to maintain. AI-native development collapsed both sides of that equation.

We built a factory model around it. Every product we ship reuses 80% of the platform layer that already exists, then customizes the last 20% to fit the workflow it serves. The customer pays for the 20%. They get the 100%. Maintained on subscription, evolved continuously, never abandoned.

02
The Model

A Software Solutions Factory,
Not an Agency

Agencies sell hours. We sell shipped products. Every internal tool we built to run our own operation became a product we now sell. Every customer engagement teaches the next one.

Build With Purpose

Every product solves a real problem someone brought to us. No vaporware, no "wouldn't it be cool if." If we're building it, it's because a paying customer needs it now.

Reuse What Works

Auth, billing, CRM glue, AI agent loops, document generation, admin shells. We've built each of these once. New products inherit them on day one and ship in weeks.

Ship and Maintain

Production from week one, not a final phase. Subscription maintenance keeps every product alive after launch, so customers never inherit dead code or stale dependencies.

03
The Pipeline

How an Idea Becomes a Product

Five phases, repeatable across every engagement. The pipeline itself is built from our own products. Discovery uses ProvenDiscovery. PRDs run through ProvenCLU. Reporting closes the loop with ProvenDigest.

01
Discovery
AI-facilitated stakeholder interviews replace weeks of meetings. Two rounds, problem first, solutions second.
Days, not weeks
02
PRD
Synthesized into a structured product requirements document, reviewed by stakeholders before any code is written.
Validated upstream
03
Sprint
Multi-agent build using our specialist agent system. The 80% platform layer is already there. We assemble and customize the last 20%.
Weeks, not quarters
04
Ship
Deployed to production with the customer's domain, branding, auth, and integrations. Live and revenue-ready from day one.
Production from week one
05
Maintain
Subscription maintenance keeps dependencies current, adds requested features, and rolls platform improvements forward automatically.
Never abandoned
04
The Portfolio

What's Already Shipped

Seventeen products across five categories. Some are live and serving paying customers today. Others are in active build, validated by real demand. Every one of them began as a workflow someone needed and couldn't buy.

05
The Stack

Standardized, So Every Build Starts at 80%

The factory model only works because the tooling is consistent. Every product uses the same auth, the same database conventions, the same deployment target, and the same AI primitives. New work plugs straight in.

The Economics

The Math Most Buyers Don't See

Custom development used to mean quarters to ship and another quarter to maintain. The factory model changes the unit economics. Same outcome, different math.

Traditional Custom Dev

Two to four quarters,
a full team from scratch

  • Full team assembled from scratch for every engagement
  • Discovery measured in months, not days
  • Handoff at launch, support priced separately
  • Dependencies stale within a year, rebuild required
  • Custom infrastructure decisions for every project
The ProvenLabs Factory

Shipped in weeks
maintained on subscription

  • 80% platform layer reused, you pay for the 20% that's yours
  • AI-facilitated discovery compresses scoping into days
  • Subscription maintenance keeps the product evergreen
  • Platform improvements roll forward to your product automatically
  • Standardized stack means a four-week build, not a four-quarter one

The timeline is the visible part. The unseen part is the maintenance compound. A traditional build is most expensive on day one and gets more expensive every year after launch as the codebase ages. A factory-model build is least expensive on day one and gets cheaper to operate as platform improvements roll forward across every product.
